The Perpetual Novena in Honor of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal

The Perpetual Novena in Honor of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal is prayed by the faithful during the Monday weekday Mass. Please confirm the time of the Monday weekday Mass in the Mass Announcement column of the weekly Parish Bulletin. (The Mass is regularly scheduled for 7:00p.m. - but may be rescheduled to 8:00a.m. due to a holiday.)

Inspirational Opportunity

Our Lady of the Lakes Church has introduced an "Inspirational Opportunity" for parishioners, visitors, and friends - a selection of CD's and pamphlets produced by Lighthouse Catholic Media. The CD's are available on the Lighthouse Catholic Media display rack in our Church Narthex. These CD's include explanations of our Catholic faith, accounts of God's incredible mercy in the personal lives of Catholics, and practical information for living our faith. Take a few minutes prior to or following Mass to browse through the titles available... you are sure to find one of interest to you, a family member or friend.

Montville Area Community Together Ecumenical Program

The MACT Program is seeking people who would like to donate two hours a week to assist at the food bank located in the Social Services Building adjacent to the Montville Town Hall on Route 32 in Uncasville. For information please telephone our Parish Representative to MACT, Ed Farr, 860-859-1189.

The Ladies Guild welcomes new members! The meeting is held on the first Tuesday of the Month at 7:00p.m. in our Parish Hall. Special guests, presentations, and speakers are announced in our Parish Bulletin. Members with diverse interests represent our membership - our meetings and socials are interesting and offer a nice evening out! God Squad - Youth Group

The God Squad our Parish Youth Group participates in outings, trips, and special events and in activities and functions that enrich their spiritual life. Folk Group Welcomes New Members

Our Lady of the Lakes Church Folk Group welcomes new members, teenagers and adults. If you would like to sing and play the guitar, flute, tambourine, or another instrument, we would love to have you join. The group plays for the 5:00p.m. Vigil Mass on Saturday evenings and practices on Wednesday evenings at the Church. This is a great way to share God's Word with the congregation. Please consider joining our Folk Group. Parish Communications/Publicity Liaison

Miss Terri Bannon will serve our Parish as Communications Liaison/Publicity Coordinator. Terri will have available the contacts and methods about various newspapers, TV and radio stations in order to get the publicity in on time to the right media. She will assist our Parish in promoting the organizations, activities, parishioners, and programs to the public in order to distribute information about these areas. Gardening Angels

Members will gather to plan and plant the grounds around the Church and Rectory. You are invited to participate in making Our Lady of the Lakes Church grounds inviting and beautiful. No experience necessary! We'll have great fun and the help of a Master Gardner who has volunteered her talents, too! Our Council has open membership to men 18 years of age and older. Our Council's Monthly Meeting is held in Our Lady of the Lakes Church Parish Hall. We sponsor events to benefit the Parish and our Community. Please refer to the Parish Bulletin page to review the parish bulletins for these announcements.
